Get to know the material properties
Touch trails are very popular with children. When walking barefoot over the different materials in the feeler boxes, they develop an awareness of different surface textures. Soft grass and pleasant wool in contrast to stones and firm cork: the little ones will quickly find out what it feels like to have different surfaces underfoot.
